Ever imagined how it could sound, if Arcade Fire, Kasabian, Placebo, Blur, Arctic Monkeys, the Black Keys, the Beatles, Air, Depeche Mode, the Cure, Noel Gallagher and Queens of the Stone Age would meet for a songwriting session?
Perhaps a bit like the music of Frankfurt (Germany) based indie-pop band SUPERUSE, whose songs incorporate both, blithely and playfully, elements of pop, brit-pop, rock, electro, stoner and indie whilst singing about yet subtle sentiments and big drama.
Punchy without hardness, soft without being kitschy, mostly decently danceable and always without reservation to catchy melodies and hook lines.
SUPERUSE were founded back in 2013, have released their debut album "No red line" in fall 2015, followed by the second long-player "#ME" in July 2018.
SUPERUSE have been granted an award as best German Pop Act in 2016 (Deutscher Rock und Pop Preis).

Vielleicht ein wenig so wie die Musik der Frankfurter Indie-Pop Band SUPERUSE, in deren Songs unbekümmert und spielerisch Elemente aus Pop, Brit-Pop, Rock, Elektro, Stoner und Indie verwoben und kleine Gefühle und grosse Dramen besungen werden.
Mal kräftig ohne Härte, mal soft ohne kitschig zu sein, meist ordentlich tanzbar und vor allem ohne Berührungsängste gegenüber eingängigen und schönen Melodien und Hooklines.
SUPERUSE wurden 2013 gegründet, haben im Oktober 2015 ihr erstes Album "No Red Line" und im Juli 2018 den Nachfolger "#ME" veröffentlicht.
